Mediation Services
Michael Brady was selected to serve on the panel of mediators for the Western District of New York’s ADR Pilot Program (http://www.nywd.uscourts.gov) for which he received extensive mediation training by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
Since the commencement of the Western District of New York's Mediation Program which became operative in 2006, Mr. Brady has mediated well over 100 Federal Court lawsuits. These mediations have included wrongful death actions, commercial disputes, trademark litigation, admiralty disputes, personal injury actions, FDCPA actions and numerous other matters. In addition to his role as a Federal Court panel mediator, Mr. Brady is frequently requested to mediate State Court disputes in Buffalo and Rochester. He has also been engaged to arbitrate disputes both as single arbitrator and as a member of a panel.
Thomas Hagerty has also served as a mediator for private parties, especially in the area of health care disputes.
Arbitration Services
Thomas Hagerty is one of the foremost neutral arbitrators in Western New York, having arbitrated hundreds of matters, serving as neutral chairman of the standard three member tribunal and often as a single neutral arbitrator chosen by litigants. He is one of the few attorneys certified to sit as an arbitrator for the U.S. District Court, Western District of New York.
